What a dimension screen can say

Compare the minimum required footprint with the usable space after the allowance you enter. A known oversize dimension can rule a candidate out. Missing dimensions cannot establish suitability.

What this page shows

This page includes models with dimensions and requirements published by the maker or a named seller, plus a manual check for a tray you found. Each model shows its source and limitations. Published specifications do not establish hands-on performance or guarantee fit. Shopping links, where present, are labeled as paid links and never change a fit result.

How to read the four results

The comparison returns one of four states. It is never a score, a ranking or a pick, and each state means something specific.

Outside your numbers. At least one published minimum dimension exceeds your space after the allowance. This is a footprint answer and it comes first, which is why a piece that hangs from the drawer rim is still ruled out this way when the drawer is too shallow for its span. That case is worked through in the guide on organizers that rest on the frame.

Below the stated minimum. A maker page states a minimum drawer height and your measured height is under it. That figure is compared as printed, with no allowance subtracted, and a violated requirement outranks a good footprint result. Where a page prints the same requirement in both centimetres and inches, the two do not agree, and this page says so rather than choosing one for you: the four records that state a minimum, and one maker page taken number by number.

More to check. The published figures do not settle it. Mounting, support and moving clearances, a dimension the page never states, or an exact zero-clearance result each produce this, and the reasons are listed with the result rather than summarised.

Within your numbers. The published numbers clear the space you entered. That is a statement about figures and not a fit guarantee, and the figures themselves can be the trap: a cabinet size read as a drawer size gives a drawer that is only 16½ inches inside.

More than a bounding box

The product must enter the opening and avoid hinges, pipes and moving parts. Mounted, expanding or sliding systems may require additional support and clearance information. This check does not model installation geometry.
