Report a calculation or source issue

Email contact@danorie.com. Include the page you were on, the values you entered, the result you expected, and the product or measurement the question is about. A screenshot helps but is not required.

What happens to your message

Messages go to a mailbox the operator reads personally. There is no contact form, so nothing is silently discarded by a script. This is a one-person operation, so replies are not immediate and there is no guaranteed response time — an answer that needs a source page re-read takes as long as re-reading it takes.

What is worth reporting

A figure that does not match the page it is quoted from. A calculation that does not reproduce from the numbers shown. A source link that has moved or changed since the date printed on the page. A requirement attributed to the wrong party, such as a seller’s figure described as the maker’s. A sentence that reads as a recommendation when this site does not make them. Each of those is a defect here, and each has been found and fixed before.

What email cannot settle

Whether a particular organizer fits your drawer, without the three measurements from it — the size check answers that faster than a reply can, and it shows its working. Whether a product is well made, since nothing here has been used in a kitchen. And where to buy something cheapest, because this site carries no prices at all.

What not to send

Do not send payment information, account credentials or other sensitive personal data. Nothing on this site needs them, and there is no account to create.

Corrections

A correction that changes a published result is recorded under the corrections policy. Rechecking that a source link still opens is not the same as rechecking the figures on it, and the two are not recorded as the same thing.
